The ultimate combo for the skier who wants nothing
but powder. For this one of a kind tour we have
teamed up with Powder Cowboy catskiing to offer our
guests the ultimate 9 day winter adventure.
The
first 4 days of skiing are spent with Canadian Powder.
We spend one day skiing at Sunshine Village in Banff to
get our legs going and ski the notorious delerium diver
before moving on to Kicking Horse resort for the
next three days. Here we explore the endless powder
bowls and amazing terrrain in and adjacent to Kicking
Horse resort. We ride lifts high into the alpine and
then go into the backcountry. With a small amount of
hiking, using only a fraction of the effort were we to
climb from the valley bottom, we find ourselves on top
of 1000ft couloirs, 3500ft powder runs, and untouched
snow fields. We then have an amazing run, or maybe two,
before traversing back to the resort to start it all
over again.
On day number 5 we finish skiing
early and head off to Fernie, BC, a 3 hour drive to the
South and home of Powder Cowboy catskiing. On the drive
there is the oportunity to stop at the all natural,
Whiteswan hotsprings. The next three days are spent
catskiing with Powder Cowboy where you will stay in
their first class accommodations. All meals are included
while staying with Powder Cowboy. At the end of the
three days of catskiing we will pick you up and provide
transportation back to Calgary.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Guests
arrive in Calgary, we spend the night here.
Day 2 -
Travel 1.5 hrs west to Banff in AM, ski at Sunshine
village resort for the day, travel 1.5 hrs after skiing
to Golden, BC.
Day 3 - Ski Kicking Horse resort
and the adjacent backcountry.
Day 4 - Ski Kicking
Horse resort and the adjacent backcountry.
Day 5 -
Ski Kicking Horse resort and the adjacent backcountry,
travel to Fernie in the early afternoon. Possible stop
at Whiteswan Hotsprings.
Day 6 - Skiing with Powder
Cowboy
Day 7 - Skiing with Powder Cowboy
Day 8 -
Skiing with Powder Cowboy
Day 9 - Early transfer to
Calgary, Guests fly out
