Yes we offer heli skiing. We work with several partners in the heli skiing industry to create the heli skiing vacation that fits you the best. When booking a heli skiing vacation there are several factors that you should take into consideration. We can help you figure it all out. The main factors that you will want to consider before you book your heli skiing vacation are:

1. The length of time that you want to go heli skiing for; 1 day, 3 day, 7 day and so on, almost anything is available although a lot of operators offer a minimum 3 day stay.

2. Cost: the cost of heli skiing varies substantially. Prices vary according to private or small group heli skiing, the number of days you are going for, lodging, access to the lodge, and the number of vertical feet.

3. Small Group versus Larger Group heli skiing: Many consider small group heli skiing the ultimate skiing vacation. The group usually consists of you, 3 friends and a guide. You can even have your own private helicopter so that it is waiting for you at the bottom of each run.

However for most people, specifically if you are an intermediate skier or slower advanced skier, large group heli skiing can offer more than enough vertical, the enjoyment of meeting others, is less expensive than small group heli skiing, and your still taking a helicopter up and skiing down in a pristine wilderness environment which is an amazing experience.

Example Itinerary
An example itinerary which we could arrange, to include some off-piste skiing with us to warm up can be found below;

After 3 days of skiing with Canadian Powder guides we transfer you 1.5 Hrs South of Golden to Invermere, home of RK heli skiing. Here you will spend the next three days heli skiing the vast Purcell wilderness. Each day will include breakfast, lunch, all equipment rentals and their premium, 5 run package.

Example Itinerary - An 8 day heli tour is outlined below;

• Day 1 (Saturday) Guests arrive in Calgary and are picked up and transferred to a hotel. Any rental requirements are taken care of. Guests have the opportunity to go out and experience Calgary's unique cowboy nightlife.
• Day 2 (Sunday) Travel to Banff Sunday morning; Ski Sunshine. A great warm-up and the opportunity to ski Delirium Dive. Drive to Golden, BC after the first day of skiing.
• Day 3 (Monday) Skiing Off Piste around Kicking Horse resort.
• Day 4 (Tuesday) Skiing Off Piste around Kicking Horse resort. 
• Day 5 (Wednesday) Travel to Invermere in the morning. Heli skiing with RK, premium 5 run package.
• Day 6 (Thursday) Heli skiing with RK, premium 5 run package.
• Day 7 (Friday) Heli skiing with RK, premium 5 run package.
• Day 8 (Saturday) Transfer back to Calgary in the AM, guests depart.

 Cost - 10 day version includes 5 days with Canadian Powder and 3 with RK heli skiing.
